Due to structural reasons we were unable to remove a half-wall between the living and dining rooms, so instead, we turned it into a cozy feature. Now, a built-in banquette filled with pillows adds character and charm to the home.
Next, we enclosed a half-wrapped veranda to create a bright, open living room that flows seamlessly into the dining area and kitchen, providing a more inviting space for entertaining. Matching ceilings and hand-laid walnut floors help to create a timeless ambiance.

A dramatically veined Calacatta Paonazzo marble peninsula anchors the space, complemented by vintage Arthur Umanoff bar stools and a bespoke La Canche range. Artful touches, like Japanese ceramicist Makoto Kagoshima’s vibrant pieces displayed as artwork, infuse the room with character and individuality.
